CaGBC have confirmed that Station Street Community has been officially awarded LEED(r) Canada NC 1.0 Gold Certification on June 17th, 2013.
The project was awarded 45 points, solidly over the Gold threshold and approaching Platinum. A few noteworthy green building achievements include Portland Housing’s LEED Green Housekeeping Plan (assisted by Blue Camas), NSDA’s high performance building envelope and BC Housing’s mandate to achieve LEED Measurement and Verification.
Blue Camas also had the opportunity to work closely with MMM Group and CaGBC as we successfully untangled the complications of accurately assessing ventilation and energy efficiency criteria for a mixed use building incorporating residential, amenity and commercial areas.
